Imtko,
I do not have any experience with the Dexcom system. I did do some investigating on the internet but did not come up with any statistical information. As a volunteer I cannot promote any products online but it definitely sounds interesting.

I speak only from articles I have read. The articles say that it is not quite as accurate in detecting low blood sugar levels as the traditional glucometers. That might be something to just keep watch over if you do try it.

Hello everyone... I have recently tried the guardien continuious monitoring systeme on loan for two weeks. This system resembles the one you are talking about very much so. I found it extremely helpfull, because you could predict your lows and not have to worry about overnight hypos. I am extremly active and i found that it was a little bulky to carry around all the time, and found it anoying that I had to put in my blood sugar level every 12 hours. i aslo found that it laged behind what your sugars are accualy doing befor it told you what they were. Over all though i thought it was an amazing peice of equipment, and the one your looking at is alot cooler than the one i tried. I sujest you talk to your heathcare professional because they are complicated, and then are very costly to run(35$ every three days!),  and when you screew up two sensnor in a row its a realy **** off...lol. Please get back to me and tell me what you decided! ***@****
