Hi KISS73! I am not a medical professional, just a volunteer who has a 18 year old diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 21 months. I also do not have any personal experience when it comes to obtaining social security benefits. My best advice to you is to see your endocrinologist or primaryPrimary amyloidosis Primary biliary cirrhosis Primary hyperparathyroidism Primary insomnia Primary lymphoma of the brain care physician (I am assuming that you have diabetes even though it isn't stated in your question). He or she can begin the paperwork process that needs to be completed before a person can be awarded a social security disability benefit. Good luck!
