I took 15 units of lanuts in am and 15 in pm  got laid off and can't afford lantus  how much 70/30 should I try now  don't have 75$ to pay doctor for an answer  Been a diabetic over 40 years

Hi there!

It is not advised to interchange the type of insulin without medical recommendation and prescription. Only under medical supervision, it is advisable to start at the lowest dose for fear of hypoglycemia and check the blood sugar levels at the described peaks and gradually taper the dose to reach at appropriate levels.
