Diabetes and Stomach/Knee pain

I am 24 and I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes this year. Within the past few days I have been having some really bad stomach pain and knee pain. I have never had these pains before. Every morning when I wake up my knees are achy. My stomach is sore all day. I have an appt with my doctor but it won't be for some time. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I will run all possibilities by my doctor.

here is some free advice;
learn everything about type 1
change your diet for the rest of your life NOW or u will suffer the consequences later as the sicker a person is the more careful they must be as to their health and u have a disease that will blind u, get your legs cut off, destroy your heart, liver, kidneys etc AS SOON AS U ALLOW IT.
