Diabetic

I m 39 year old, male, recently I checked my blood sugar and shown in fasting  6.8  I am doing regular excercise from last two years becasue I am really affraid of Diabetic and my parents also saffering the same, Do I need to take any medication? also my both legs are two tired

I would suggest that you make an appointment with your doctor and ask him/her to run a hemoglobin a1c test. The reason for this suggestion is that any random test such as the fasting test you ran on yourself shows only what your glucose levels are at that particular moment. What your doctor will want to know is how your body's glucose levels run all the time, not just at one particular moment. The a1c test does just that, for it shows what your AVERAGE glucose level has been for the past 3 months. It will give a much clearer picture of how well your body is maintaining its glucose levels than any one-time test.
