Do I have hypoglycemia?

Do I have hypoglycemia?

The last two days I have had episodes of feeling faint, dizzy, shaky, and sweaty.  I feel like I can't get enough air and like I may pass out.  This happens at about the same time, 11:00 or 11:30am, which is near my lunch break.  I do not miss a meal eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner regularly.  I haven't changed my diet, eating habits, and haven't increased my activity or exercise.  The bad feelings are relieved after I eat my lunch and usually go away within 30 minutes.  I have been researching hypoglycemia and this is very similar to what I am experiencing.  I have always had feelings of irritability if I do not eat at the regular times, with the occasional shakiness, but it seems to be worse.  I ate dinner tonight even though I felt nauseated after a 2 hr nap.  Do I just go to the doctor or do I do any testing on my own first?  I ask about the testing because most doctors I have seen have you wait for them for 45 minutes and then only spend 5 minutes with you so I would like to go there prepared if possible.

Jodie, this does sound like hypoglycemia and even if you don't know anything about testing, you might want to go see a doctor even if you don't know. It doesn't matter how long you have to wait, you should know what is happening, it's important.
