Feet tingling, becoming painful and swelling

by jeslyn1978, Jul 19, 2009 10:36PM
8 days ago I noticed that the tops of my feet started tingling after I took a deep breath. Since then the sensation has gone from tingling to more of an ache. The tops of my feet feel like they are bruised and it is noticeable when I walk, Just today they started to swell but only on top. What could be going on? Do I need to see a doctor ASAP?

You don't mention if you have diabetes or if you have other symptoms (such as fatigue, frequent urination, unusual thirst or weight loss) that could make you think you have diabetes. If this condition continues you should definitely have it checked out by your doctor. Whatever it is, it needs to be assessed.
