Headache 2 wks, extreme fatigue, shortness of breath

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 almost two years ago.  For the last two weeks she has had a cluster migraine behind her eyes, and painful pressure at the base of her skull.  She has also had intermittent cap headaches.  She is lethargic and has extreme fatigue and shortness of breath.  She is nauseous and vomits at least twice per day.  She has also had some vertigo.  Bloodwork and cat scan came back normal and dr says to give tylenol.  We've tried all otc meds and chiropractic - nothing is working.  Any ideas?

Hello, Lori.  I'm not a medical professional, just the parent of a kid with diabetes, just like you.  There are only a couple possibilities that you haven't mentioned for which the symptoms match somewhat.  One is a deviated septum and the other is some kind of inner ear problem.  Did she have some kind of head injury, that it could be a concussion?  Or would the car scan rule that out?  I'm sorry I don't have any better answers.  I hope you can find out what is going on soon.
