As I live in Scotland UK i find it really shocking that people with type1 diabetes in your country have to pay for your medical care its disgusting as this is a Disease that you have to live with the rest of your live and can come with complications its about time yous got all your medication free and what ever medical equipment you may need I can count my self lucky that the insulin pump they are thinking about giving my daughter will be supplied by our hospital and all the equipment she needs for it we are very fortunate here that all diabetics medical treatment and all medication they need is free my daughter has just been give a new piece of equipment called a Guardian which moniters her glucose levels 24hrs a day and will go of if her blood sugar is going too high or to low which alerts us so we can sort things quickly and gives her peace of mind for at night and I know this little machine the size of a pager cost £3000 thats about $6000 and our hospital provided this free and the little sensors she has to insert under the skin for this machine
