Help!!!!!!!!

by reelman730, Dec 23, 2008 10:13AM
My 16 year old teen is in trouble please help. He gets mad with the drop of a hat. We need a camp to send him to so he can get some help. I think he is on his way down the wrong road and we cant do anything. His Dr. said.
That if he wont talk there is nothing he can do for us. He needs strong redirection or he's lost. Does any one know of such a place for this problem. All of the camps that we have talked to will not take in anyone with diabetes. We can not live like this. There are times I am affraid to go to sleep at night. Please Help.

So I'm guessing he's not taking care of his diabetes... A suggestion, maybe getting him to talk to other type one diabetics? If there's any diabetes meetings in your area he could go to, or even this site (which helped me and others so much) would be great. One of the greatest things that helped me get over how i hated diabetes so much was talking to other people in the same situation as me, or had similar stories.
He'll have lots of support on here, that's for sure.
