High Blood sugar problem

I am 26 had diabetes since i was 3. Juvanile diabetes and since i can remember i have had high blood sugars tried so many different doctors and none of them seem to be able to help me. my a1c is 12 and i follow my diet and i take my shots is there anything that might be able to help me? The only time my a1c was 7 was when i was pregnant with my son who is now 3. i have had 2 m/c's since then and need someone to help me figure out what steps to take next.

Hi there!

Aside dietary and lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, avoiding smoking/ alcohol etc.; it is the insulin dosage that would need to be adjusted for adequate control of blood sugar levels. I would suggest consulting an endocrinologist for a detailed evaluation and suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
