High blood Glucose then gone?

I am 22 yrs old and I am a premedical student.  I was in a lab the other day which we tested our Glucose levels mine was 146 and everyone else in the class was normal 70-110.  so since I had eaten in the past hour we waited another hr and it was 136.  so then after class my teacher told me to test my urin and I did and I saw that there was glucose in my urin.  So the next day I ate a light lunch and we waited 3 hrs and tested it and it was 133.  so the next day I tested my urin and there was a trace of glucose.  So then two days later I went to the Dr and my glucose was 85 and so she did an average over the past month and it was still 85???  I am not sure what is going on she says that it was probally the test that my teacher used, was defaulty, but why was everyone elses normal and acurate.  I am really scard that something is going on with me and unfortualtly I don't have insurance so I can't keep going to doctors.  Could some other problem be going on that made my blood sugar spike like that???

Well good that you ruled out diabetes by going to the doctor.  Did you go to an endocronologist?  Did you ask the doctor the same question you are asking the forum?
I do know that blood sugars go up and down all day in a non-diabetic(not too high or too low, but they do fluctuate.)

It sounds as if you did everything you should have.  How do you feel?  Did you notice anything about your health before the class and blood sugar readings?  Maybe you are overthinking-you went to the doctor and he/she told you by the tests that your readings are fine.  If you used a glucometer in your class they can be off by a 20% range.

Are you sure you didn't have anything on your hand when you tested?  Hand lotion, for example, can cause a false high reading.

Just something to consider.
