I have had a lot of problems with hypoglycemia during my sleep. My boyfriend often finds me having seizures in my sleep and I wake up in an ambulance with no recollection of anything. I recently moved in to my own place after I broke up with my boyfriend but now I am scared if this happens and no one is there to help me, what will happen? Is there a chance that I can die from this?
Set an alarm for 2am and check your blood sugar. Have box juices next to your bed for low blood sugars. You could have night time low blood sugar seizures. My husband does AND he is a heavy sleeper, which makes me the primary person to help him with his lows at night. My husband only has seizures in the middle of the night because of him being such a deep sleeper. Agree with jasper07. Eat a snack before bed to make sure you have something in your system so you don't have any lows. he body is amazing. And thankfully after a seizure your blood sugar will go up a little so you will hopefully be able to get some glucose in you. Please keep posting if you are still worried and have questions.
