DIABETES - JUVENILE TYPE I COMMUNITY
I think my parents are paranoid?

I think my parents are paranoid?

Recently my parents have been acting really wierd.
They haven't said anything about my diabetese having any difficulties or anything, but they have started asking me more 'Have you done your blood sugars?' and 'Make sure you have something proper to eat when you go out'.
Usually they wouldn't do this, but now they have. (Been diabetic for 12 years, and I'm 16 years of age).
This makes me panic, even though it probably doesn't have anything to do with me.
My dad is kind of the grumpy kind, and my mum isnt exactly the cheriest of people.
Also, my nan has mental problems and my aunt is kind of a drug user (of whom is my dads sister) so they do have the medical issues for my nan, the social services of my aunts children and work on their back most of the time. This also makes me not want to put more pressure on them by asking them.
I have said things like ''When I'm older, like 24 I'll want to live in manchester'' and they have been like ''you could do that, buy your own house and ect.''
Ive also dropped hints to my 19 year old sister, but she is quite happy and cheerie about things.
Can anyone tell me if its just me being paranoid, because I havent had contact with the diabetese clinic since my last 3 month appointment (next one is on the 17th) of which I know of, and nobodys said anything to me and I don't feel ill or any pain.
Someone please help, or atleast suggest what may be me being paranoid or anxious.
Thankyou.
