You need to call Cigna and ask for a supervisor and find out what pump they pay for. Your need to get your doctor involved and he needs to contact Cigna and let them know that it is a medical necessity. I know several people that have gotten Cigna to pay for the pumps and supplies, but it takes persistence on your part and the endocrinologist’s part. If your doctor does not want to do it find another endow! All major insurance companies in the US do pay for the pumps; you just need to have the doctor right a letter of medical necessity. When there is a will there is a way.
When you call Cigna ask for a supervisor they usually have better access to information ten the first person on the phone. You can also go to there website and look under there policies for diabetes pumps.
I know that several years ago when I had Cigna they would only pay for a Distron, pump that at pump is no longer made. Attached is the website for Cigna

I hope this helps.
