Is my sugar levels to high?

by wendamere, Aug 04, 2009 05:56PM
I am a 36 year old that has had type 1 diabetes for 6 years. I do have four healthy children from non-diabetic pregnancies and this is my first diabetic pregnancy.  This time has been alot harder on my body- unsure if from age or diabetes.  I am in my 7th month and I am starting to get very worried about the the health of my unborn baby. At my recent ob appt, a diabetic patient was there talking to everyone about her 35 week baby being stillborn. My ob advised me that the lady had not taken control of her bloodsugar. My A1c is currently around 6% but daily bloodsugars seem to staying around the 200's. Any comments?
