Minimed pump problems !!!

Minimed pump problems !!!

I have had a new mimimed pump since they were approved in Canada last year. Since then, I have had my pump replaced 3 times and working on 4. It works for about 2-3 months and then says "no Delivery " all the time. I change reservoirs, infusion sets, etc etc and this is a huge cost. It is like after 3 months the mechanism that moves the insulin up thru the infusion set, does not work. My sugars are more out of control now than every before. ANY one else having this problem, AND do you think they are just sending refurbished pumps, around and around??? thanks

I had minimed pump and I actually liked it. It didn't go out on me or nothing. The only complaint I had was the tubing that's why now I'm trying to get the Omnipod. I don't think they send refurbished pumps out. Maybe it may be different for Canada.

how often are u changes ur sites and refilling ur insulin? i had a similar problem and found out i needed to switch to a different type of insertion device i use silhouettes now due to tubing getting bunched up under skin getting clogged and air pockets getting into lines...next time try priming ur pump up to 10 units to come out then put reservoir back in and see if it does it again cuz may jst have air pocket inline and/or change site also if that dnt help sounds like u may need another pump  unfortunately. Id tell whomever u order thru waht is goin on they should have on file theyve sent u multiple replacements and ask why or if they found nehting wrong with previous ones?
