Normal blood sugars

I am worried about my daughter and the possibility of her getting diabetes.  I am a type 1 and have had it for 15 years.  My daughter is 18 months old and I was just wondering what the normal range for that age group is as far as blood sugars are concerned.  I am planning on testing her yearly, but in between that time, I would like to monitor her myself.

My son is 12 months old with T1.  His target range is 80-180 blood glucose.  (I share your concern, as we also have a 2 yr old, and I've tested his fasting blood glucose a few times first thing in the morning, just for the peace of mind.)

Our Endo. also told us that we could have our older son tested to see what his genetic chances are of developing T1, which we plan on doing shortly.
