Questions about Diabetes

by Erfdizzle, Oct 09, 2009 01:18PM
Since I checked up with a specialist, he obviously thinks that my symptoms are related to diabetes such as: Chronic Fatigue, Motion Sickness, muscle weakness, always thirsty, always urinating, and etc. But I was wondering that if your developing diabetes, could your head hair fallout and if your an athlete, will your injuries that you sustain take longer to heal?

I have read several reports on the diabetes support group sites that say hair gets thinner and also that sores and infections take longer to heal. See a doctor ASAP if you get an infection that is not healing. Once blood sugar levels are under good control without so many highs, these symptoms should improve and eventually giive you no problem. I have been Type 1 for 64 years and I am very healthy. With good control we can live long, healthy lives.
