Resources available for Diabetic related expenses?

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes about 27 months ago.  My condition has continued to worsen with glucose readings from 23 to 500+ routinely.  I see a reputable Endo on a regular basis, usually about every 4 weeks and sometimes more frequently.  It seems I have a unique case I am told.  I am 5'11", 198 LBS.  I have been through several dibetes education and diet classes, and eat correctly again to no avail.
Since being diagnosed, and especially in the past year and half, I have had one infection after another.  Absessed teeth, kidney, ear infections etc...
I have been hospitalized at least twice for out of control glucose levels not to mention the bills that have mounted for the above mentioned infections.

My question is, are there any finacial resources available to help with my mounting medical expenses?  I have a good job and make a decent salery, and have insurance coverage through the company I work for, but it is basically 80/20 with exclusions on certain items such as pump supplies etc...
I am sinking fast financially and need help!

I would advise you to go to the website for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.org) and then click on the link in the box on the left side of the home page that says: Online Diabetes Support Team (ODST). This will take you to a page where you can copy and paste the words you have written here to us, and you will be assigned to a volunteer who can put you in touch with the staff member who handles all cases involving information about financial help. He will check to see what is available in your state and may be able to offer suggestions about sources for help.
