Stomach Pain

I am 31, 120 lb.  1 year ago I had my gall bladder removed because it wasn't functioning properly.  Ever since then, aproximately 2 - 3 times a week I wake up in the morning with severe stomach pain.  It actually gets better if I eat something, but I have heard that this can be a sign of diabetes?  I notice that if I have alot of sugar before bed I am more likely to wake up with stomach pains.  This has not been an issue until I had the gall bladder surgery.  The pain will subside very quickly if I do eat something, but this is definetly not normal "hunger pains"; it's extremely painful, gnawing, and tightning in my stomach.  Any suggestions as to what this may be?  I have heard of hypoglycemia....

I suggest you see your doctor and have this evaluated. Nobody on a discussion board can make a diagnosis and your stomach issues may complicate your symptoms. It is not clear at all that this is diabetes related.
