As you already know Type I is hard to control even under ordinary circumstances.  The hormones of pregnancy really complicate matters.  High blood sugars can cause damage to you and the baby.  Uncontrolled diabetes can lead to miscarriage and  internal deformities [such as the heart] with the baby.  Prenancy also puts a great deal of strain on your kidneys.  You should be under good control for many, many months BEFORE getting prenant;  then you should be under the care of a specialist to monitor both your health and the baby's.  To complicate matters even further you are a teenager.  Your body is not ready to handle a pregnancy even without the diabetes. Is there a doctor, counselor, parent or other adult with whom you can discuss this? Good luck with making a decision.
