UNEXPLAINED HYPOS

I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 20 years and on Lantus for over five years. I had open heart surgery six months ago, and have recently experienced sudden hypos which cannot be explained. I control my diet and hardly use fast acting insulin and only 12-14 u of Lantus. I fingerpick and test several times a day. Recently I have been experiencing low hypos which can come at different times of the day. I have been eating normally and there has been no change in lifestyle. My specialist cannot explain it. Can anyone advise?
