Very Sleepy

by rascalbuddy, Aug 21, 2006 12:00AM
I do not have diabetis (recent tests done to make sure).  I am having spells where I get sweaty, shaky, blurred vision, etc.  There are also times when these spells are a little different.  I have the sweating but I feel extremely tired like I could fall asleep right now - right here where ever I am.  I find myself jerking back to reality by jerky movements - kind of like dozing off.  This is new to me.  I have never had anything like this before.  Any ideas?

I am not a physician, but the mom of a type one diabetic.  I would suggest you contact your PCP or endocrinologist.  Several things could be going on. I would ask your doctor to check your thyroid.  I find I feel that way when I need to have my thyroid meds dosage adjusted.  However, there are other things that can cause the same effect.

I hope this Helps, Sorry I could not be of more help..  Please let us know how you are doing.  Good lUck
