diabetes and a gut

I have long been self concious about my weight...
Don't get me worng I'm not fat but my stomach does have a but of a pooch.
I was talking to my mom about it and she said thats common in folks with diabetes i
s this true??

Hi! As far as I know and knowing other diabetics both t-1 and t-1, tend to get a gut and that is from the insulin.
