excess levels of cortisol

by SETII, Feb 24, 2006 12:00AM
what tests could be done to determine the correct etiology of a disease related to excess levels of cortisol?

by JDRF-Team-BL, Feb 24, 2006 12:00AM
Dear setii,
As i said i'm a simple diabetic and don't have a medical degree. But cortisol is a hormone released by the adrenal glands and in diabetics can cause blood sugar levels to increase. But i don't know what test can be done to discover or cure this situation. Ask your doctor, he may have advice. Good luck, bret
