feeling nervous when suger is low or high

by andymutant, Oct 30, 2009 08:43PM
I have Type 1 and I'm on Actos.  If I stick to my diet and exercise it's under control, but just a little stray and it goes high.  I feel very nervous when it's low and when it's high. Is that normal?  Is there anything you can do when it's high other than wait it out?

I'm a bit puzzled by your post, andy. You are Type 1 and you are not on insulin? That's very unusual. Are you sure you're Type 1?

As for your question, if you were on insulin you would take a correction shot if you are too high. Not being on insulin there are less options but one would be to exercise to bring your blood sugar down.
