i have a few question is an interview for a paper

Hi i am sorry to bother you but i need to interview a doctor because i am doing a paper on diabetes so i have a few questions that i would like that you would anwer if you can.

1.How do i know if i have diabetes?

2. What age does diabetes occur?

3. What is type 1 diabetes and type2 and which one is worse?

4. If i dont control my diabetes what are some risk that i can get?

5. Is there a cure for diabetes if there not how close  are we to find one?

I am sorry but none of us are doctors on this forum…I know it is a bit confusing because on some of the responses it says “message from doctor,” but we are all volunteers all with a connection to type 1 diabetes.  We simply respond based on our personal experience, for me I am mom to Jeff who was diagnosed at the age of 11 and is now 38 years old.
You could simply do a search on the web looking for websites, or message boards that do indeed have doctors that respond.
