As you may know, we are volunteers and not medical professionals. We cannot give specific information about dosing of any medication, so I urge you to ask your questions of your doctor because s/he will know your particular situation and health conditions.
Our forum focuses on Type 1 (juvenile onset) diabetes and I can't tell from your message if you are Type 1 or Type 2. If you are Type 2, then I encourage you to visit the ADA website that has many resources for folks with Type 2: www.diabetes.org
