hi my brother is fifteen over weight used to be skinny really skinny.his dads side has history of diabetes.he gets ingrone toe nails on both feet and pulls them off himself.he also feels weird when he eats sweets.i cant get him to go to the docter any comments
15 is such a hard age-Rl had some good advice. I would try to get him to the podiatrist too-they can help with the toes and I am sure would let him know he needs to go to the doctor and get some blood work done to find out if he is diabetic. Untreated issues lead to other complications.
his aunts and uncles have died from it he has a couple left but they live so far away and we dont speak with them,i told him today im makeing an appointment and hes going wether he wants to or not
Good for you! If he has not had a checkup, he should. Untreated infection in the feet or anywhere else can lead to bloodstream infections which can be very serious at any age. We wish you the best in getting him to the doctor.
