my friends low blood pressure and addiction to sugar

hi i have a friend he is also 15 he is a fat but i should say maybe obesed guy he drinks sweet soft drink every time i think he has many cartons of them at home when i asked he said he has low blood sugar .i dont know whether if he is born with low blood sugar and it is a persistant thing but is this right for him to drink like this??

Hello.  I'm not a medical professional, just the parent of a kid with diabetes.  The combination of low blood sugars, obesity, and sweetened soft drinks don't make much sense.  He is getting obese because of things like the soft drinks.  If he's drinking them all the time, then it's not because of low blood sugars, it's because he enjoys the flavor.  If it was because of low blood sugar, he would only drink them when he was low.  You don't say if he's diabetic or not, but if he is then he's got even more issues.  I'd recommend he visit his doctor to work out his health issues, and possibly see a dietician as well.
