need help with insulin..

Hey, i'm 16 and from england, and i have had diabties pretty much all my life and im only just learning how to do my insulin myself like miixing evrything together, and im finding it kinda confusing and a little hard to do, can someone else around my age help? like any advice or tips please? x

I'm not sure what you mean by mixing everything together. Do you have a specific question? The standard treatment for diabetes is a long acting basal one or two times a day and a short-acting bolus before meals which you need to match with what you eat with an insulin:carb ratio. A good book to read to learn what you need to know is Using Insulin by John Walsh. do you mean mixing a coudy insulin with a clear one? i've had diabetes for just over 12 years and have used lots of different regimes to find the right one, it does take time to adjust though so dont worry yourself too much (: x
