need help

I am a male, 6'2 and 293 pounds and type2 diabetic.  I found http://www.bariatricsweightloss.com/def_bar.html to be interesting but want another site like it that describes what medical doctors like bernsteins diet do to help diabetics lose weight rapidly but safely.  is there any site you recommend?
