I am a 20 year old, and I have been experiencing elevated blood sugars especially hours after meals. my numbres are reaching the 170's and 160's and i am a non diabetic. i am feeling sick and have been eating more, but the problem is I'll check my blood sugar once and itll be like 167 and and then ill check it like half hour later and itll be lower, but ill feel sicker then ever..

can someone give me advice on what to do?

I am not a physician but the mom of a type 1 diabetic.  I can tell you that it is normal for blood sugars to be higher after eating.  It takes 2-3hours after eating for blood sugars to go down depending on what you are eating and how much fat and protein is in the meal.  

I would suggest that if you are worried to contact your physician to run some blood tests that would tell you for sure if you have diabetes.

To tell you the truth if you are experencing any high blood numbers then you should go to the doctors. The sooner you get help the easier to manage>

For healthy individuals who are not diabetic blood sugars normally do not rise above 140 after a meal.  You should see your doctor and have some tests done
