possible cure?

by astro125, Aug 20, 2007 12:00AM
i, i was just wondering if it is possible to localize a virus only in the pancreas and keep it there, if i were to such as put a virus with beta cell dna in the lytic cycle, can it maintain itself only in the pancreas?  heres what im thinking of

Get virus, kill it’s DNA, put the protein coat in with beta cells, virus takes beta cell DNA, inject into pancreas if possible one time, if not do one monthly injection into arm or stomach, attacks t-cells, add immunosuppressant drugs first, virus injects DNA into localized t- cells, t- cells in pancreas becomes beta cells, beta cells produce islet cells, islet cells produce insulin, virus continues to attacks t-cells to become beta cells due to the lytic cycle, becomes insulin independent, must stayed localized in pancreas, must not leave pancreas.

It would be CD4+ T cells are what causes adaptive immune responses, so it he virus would have to react to the t- cell, just to let you know im 16 with type one diabetes
