We are not doctors, but are either long-time type 1 diabetic people or parents of type 1 diabetic children, and therefore cannot make diagnostic comments. And you wouldn't want this anyway, for no online doctor should diagnose based only on a description written on the web.
That being said, though, maybe we can offer some suggestions to help you. If I were in your shoes, I DEFINITELY would make an appointment with my doctor to check the symptoms. Scary things like brain tumor should be ruled out when headaches are ongoing. But many things can cause headaches, and so tests should be run. Some things come to mind immediately...
Some medications can make you more prone to hypoglycemia, and some of your symptoms COULD be caused by low blood sugar. The pounding heart and headache both are sometimes symptoms of low blood sugar. So you may want to ask your doctor to run tests for glucose tolerance, and blood sugar levels, but also perhaps to check out blood pressure. Low blood pressure can have similar symptoms but usually causes dizziness when you stand up. Hormonal imbalances in women can really cause a lot of these kind of symptoms, so this could just be a side effect of the hormonal changes that this medication is having on your body. You really do need to make an appointment with your doctor and talk about all of these things. Head pain is something that you need to have checked out quickly just to rule out dangerous problems. I hope it is just reaction to the medication and that a change in medication will solve the problem. We do wish you the very best.
