I have had the pump for 4 years. I love it. Recently I have started to get "no deliveryC-section Delivery presentations Infant care following delivery" notifications when I change my site. I have been only rotating in my stomach area. Is there a reason that the site may no longer work, and how long should I wait to try and out it back in that area?
We're volunteers, not docs, so it's hard to give a medical answer for why that might be happening. You should check with your doctor about whether it's a site issue or not.
My daughter is just getting ready to go on the pump, and her doctor insisted that she not use the stomach area as the site-- she had her practice with it on the upper buttocks, and said it's more comfortable and easier there. She did, in fact, find it unobtrusive and comfortable.
