sweating with insulin

i have been on novolog for several years, thought it was working good, in these several years i have been sweating excessively, even in below zero weather here in mich, i would sweat walking to my store, dr could not explain why, tried all the different pills i take, finally asked dr if i could switch to humalog, with his okay and a coulple of sample pens my sweating has  decreased 90 percent, has anyone else had this problem while taking insulin?

                                               thanks for any info, rocco

yes, I was on a pump and used humalog and and the same problem.  Usually it was worse when my blood sugar dropped lower than usual, but not too low (at that time I was still running too high).  I was told it was the drastic drop in blood sugar that did it and then another doctor said it had something to do with insulin resistance which was making me experience menopause-like symptoms.  I don't know.  I've since gone back to using regular because I have to pay for my insulin without insurance, but I'll be going back on humalog in the next few weeks so I'll watch for that.
