There are several reasons this could be happening, but I think you should probably call your doctor and see if he thinks you need to see him or seek further help.  I know that if you are sick or are experiencing a lot of stress it can make your blood sugar go higher and in turn you get ketones in your urine.  You are right to drink more fluids and make sure you are eating properly and keeping your blood sugars down.  Are you pregnant or on a very low carb diet?  That can cause ketones as well.
