Career while having DM type 1

Hi! I am a  registered nurse and recently was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus type 1 and later on developed alopecia universalis. Is there stil a hope for me to pursue my career as a nurse? Are there other options for me? Thanks and regards.

Hi there!

None of the conditions suggest that you cannot pursue your profession. Though professionals with unstable diabetes are not best suited for emergency cases, you could continue as a professional with other departments.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
