Diabetes problem

why does one eye close in diabetes patient?

my father in law has a history of diabetes and recently his right eye has closed. he is admitted to hospital and doctor says he has third nerve paralysis. can u explain this situation and recommend a good drug.

This is not typical. I would suggest that this person should see an opthamologist. Normal diabetic patients do not have this problem. It is not a symptom of diabetes, but may be due to other problems.
