High blood sugar at bedtime

My blood sugar is always higher around bed time...WHY? It's not a miscalculation or anything when I eat dinner.

Hi,

what is your treatment for high blood sugar?  If you are taking insulin, it could mean that your evening insulin:carb ratio means you need a higher dose of insulin in the evening.

You may also find that eating less carbs at your evening meal may be helpful in controlling your blood sugars.

Alternatively a walk after dinner may help keep things under control.

Quite a few things to try.  We are all different in what works for our diabetes.

Hope this helps.
