Is it possible to have a VBAC as a diabetic?
I am 22 and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just nearly 6 months ago. I was forced into a c-section with my son, who is 9 months old. I am determined to have a VBAC with my next baby. Has anyone had a VBAC with Type 1? Or is it just automatically a repeat c-section? I know the normal risks with a VBAC and with a repeat c-section, are there extra risks being diabetic?
Well, you did it. So just incase someone searches the internet for the same answer...know this. IT IS POSSIBLE. This mama was a VBAC success.
