Military member discharged for Diabetes

I was recently in Naval Flight Training, but was discharged for diabetes.  I went through a year process of trying to stay in the military,  I am writing this to offer any help or insight I may provide to people wishing to know the military policies and options if you are diabetic.  Thank you.

What branch of service r u n. If the doctors diagnose u w/diabetes, it is 100% true that u will have 2 go thru a medical board. That does not say u will b medically discharged tho.  I was diagnosed with type 2 n 2011. Went thru a Med brd. Found unfit. So I appealed.  On the appeal I was able 2 submit documents on my behalf, past ratings, letters from my chain of cmd. Anything I wanted, JAG even did me up a letter. Long story. On the appeal I was found FIT FOR DUTY.  3+ Yrs later still goin Army Strong. Inbox me if u have soecific questions.

No problem, I only wish to pass my knowledge to my fellow servicemen.  The military is such a large organization and it is extremely tough to get all the information you need.  There are a lot of benefits that these servicemen are entitled to, but they just do not know about them. Anyway, any help I can be.
