Giving up smoking is really not easy.  Took me a long time to finally stop.  But it is well worth it.  Get assistance from your doctor (or there are also good online resources), if you can't manage by yourself.

Best wishes.

You increase all of the diabetes risk factors by smoking. Ie you increase the risks of heart disease, peripheral neuropathy, worsening the diabetes, stroke, etc.

Please do whatever you can to stop smoking.  It just makes everything worse!
