Support for Indigent Parent

An acquaintence is an out of work single mother with a 4 year old with Type I diabetes.  She is struggling to say the least.  Should she be able to qualify for medicaid to pay for her daughter's insulin?  Are there other websites/forums where she can obtain more information about financial/medical support for her daughter?

Thank you for any information.

Hi there!

I would assume she should be able to benefit from Medicaid, though it is best advised to talk to the concerned department directly.

Take care!
