Type 1 and weight gain

Im 59 years old and have been on the insulin pump for 10 years. I was never type 2, i was straight out type 1.. Ive gained so much weight on insulin, what should or can i do to get rid of this belly fat???!!

Start a gym routine. Take a long walk after dinner. Stay active. Some of the belly stuff might be scar tissue from the pump sites. I have the same issue except im 22. But i have a tiny pouch in my belly from both shots and pump use. Excercise helps a lot

My weight gain is focused strictly thru my mid drift that's all.. Nothing to do with scar tissue, I don't put my pump there.. Any answers?
