What type of socks should I wear?

I have had diabetes pretty much all of my life.  Lately, my feet have really started bothering me. The seams in my socks are starting to hurt my toes.  I went to my doctor and he told me that I needed to wear better socks and told about diabetic socks.  When I looked on the internet I found out that there are a lot of different diabetic socks out there.  One place, www.diabeticsockstore.com has a sock called Smart Knit and they say it is seamless.  Have you heard of it?  Can you recommend any socks without seams that I can try?  I would really appreciate any recommendation you can give me.
Thanks-
A.

I have bought socks from the Diabetic Sock Store, I think its called Therawear now, but the socks have been wonderful! I tried the Smartknit Seamless Diabetic sock, and they were really seamless.  Some socks claim to be, but aren't.  These socks have saved my feet, I have neuropathy.  If anyone is interested the website is http://www.therawear.com/diabetic_seamless_socks.html   I highly recommend these socks to anyone that needs diabetic socks.  The company also has lots of specials which help make the socks more affordable.  I hope this helps!

I bought one pair from Kaiser Permanente. The brand name is Sensifoot Diabetic Sock for $8. It feel much better than regular sock, but it is expensive. The website for this sock is www.jobst.com

I am sorry that I cannot personally recommend any particular brand of seamless sock, but your doctor's advice to try seamless socks makes good sense. I did a Google search on "seamless socks" and a LOT of brands pop up. I wouldn't worry too much about the brand... socks are not expensive, and in your case the only real quality you are seeking is seamlessness. You probably can order any brand and be happy.

Has any of our Forum readers tried any specific brands? Does anyone have a suggestion for Ashleye? Feel free to post here.
