Hi there!

There is no change in the recommended blood sugar levels though the diet and insulin dosage may require changes. It would be best to consult an obstetrician, nutritionist and an endocrinologist for the suggested recommendations.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!

Hi. I am also a type 1 and have lost 2 pregnancies. The first was early, at six weeks, and the second was at 15 weeks because of lack of folic acid and poor blood sugar control before the baby was conceived.

I am not trying to scare you, but please try your very best to keep your levels undr control!! STart taking prenatals and go see a perinatologist ASAP. The most important thing is keeping your levels ok. I wish i would have know this earlier -___-

Best of luck with everything and if you hve any questions, feel free to email em at ***@****

Target blood sugars during pregnancy are:-

Fasting < 95 (ideally between 70 - 85)
2 hours after eating < 120 (ideally close to fasting nos)
Always < 140.

Hope this helps.
