Hi im 19 yearz old and am an asian girl. Im worried that im having diabetes. I just checked the symptoms and found the following issues.

1) Fatigue :- im born fatigue i guess. Im always tired and sleepy. With a severe headache most of the time..(if it counts)

2)Frequent urination :- No. No i guess.. If im at home i do urinate 5 or 6 times a day but i've noticed my bladder fills up quickly at night. I dont usually wake up coz i hav to pee,but if i wake up,i hav a full bladder.

3)Thirst:- not exactly, but YES in the night. I find the area between my nose and mouth is dry severely.. Only at night but..

4)Finally this is what bothers me,sometimes black ants flock up to my urine. And thats only SOMETIMES..

Please do tel me whats up wit me!

hi sakawi!

emm yes i had thirst and frequent urination mostly during the day before i was diagnosed with diabetes. i got to know during my puberty i became lean, hungry all the time, exhausted most of the time and so my parents took me to our family doctor and i had to take up a few tests and my sugar level was around 400 for the first time. then on am under insulin.

hi sakawi!

Nice to know you. am a diabetic myself for the past 11years. there is no need to worry and build up unwanted fear in you, its better you visit a doctor and take up a urine and blood test both fasting (first urine of the day and blood test in an empty stomach) and postprandial (which is usually taken after 2 hours after your breakfast). because with these symptoms its difficult to say that you might have diabetes. nothing to worry..so take care...
